The progress of the work exceeds the 70% 70% despite the prevailing security situation in the North-Western locality, which is delaying the execution of the work in accordance with the execution schedule. The project owner who visited the site from April 22 to 24, 2021 was able to appreciate the quality of the work and the solidity of the buildings.
Once the sites were secured and the technical and architectural studies were validated and accepted, the contracts for the construction of these centers were launched by the SONEDIS Sarl and ERICO and BROTHERS Sarl consortium. ERICO and BROTHERS Sarl is committed to delivering the two MFCs within the contractual deadlines, given its ability to mobilize separate resources to carry out the construction work (drilling, water, electrification etc.)
A workshop to validate the Training, Evaluation and Pedagogical Guidelines and the Material Organization was held on October 22, 2021. This activity allowed to validate all the twenty (20) documents constituting the 4 Training Referentials for the following trades: Sharpener, Carpenter, Carpenter-Ebenist, Driver-Operator of sawmill.
The draft DAO for the acquisition of equipment for the NDOP MTC was drawn up and transmitted to the CIPM/MINEFOP. A new DAO has been drawn up, taking into account the new AFD guidelines, on the basis of the DAO for the equipment of the Bandjoun, Ebebda and Maroua MTCs. The process of developing the equipment list is underway for the Bertoua and Ngaoundéré MTCs.
The MAZARS firm carried out the mid-term evaluation of Component 3 of the TRANSFAGRI Program. The final report was validated and received on September 10, 2021.
