Programme Intégré de Valorisation et Transformation des Produits Agricoles et Agroalimentaires
Vocational training
Contextes
In the perspective of the 3rd C2D which aims to be a Program combining Sustainability and Ambition, the analysis of the testimonies collected during the local studies prior to the opening of the CFMs has shown the interest of considering the establishment of CFMs in d other Regions benefiting from AFOP centers on the one hand and synergies deployed between the AFOP, ACEFA, Regional Capitals and PMEAA Programs, to support the development of the mechanization of agro-pastoral production, the processing/conservation of production, the use of renewable energies, new technologies, capacity building for producers, etc. under the TRANSFAGRI Programme. It would be, based on all the actions already capitalized within the framework of the implementation of the C2D/CFM and C2D/CFPS Projects, to set up:
A Trades Training Center (CFM) in the North West Region, Ndop;
A Trades Training Center (CFM) in the Adamaoua Region, in N'Gaoundéré;
A Trades Training Center (CFM) in the Eastern Region, in Bertoua (Ndong bomé)
A steering and sustainable funding mechanism for vocational training
The establishment of the above Centers could thus enable Cameroon to train a critical mass of skilled workers, technicians or specialized technicians able to fit into the fabric of economic production and thus contribute to the fight against unemployment. and promote growth. On the other hand, the equipment installed in these Centers will allow our trainers to be in tune with innovative technologies. Indeed, some projects such as AFOP train farmers whose products are not valued on the national and international markets (insufficient processing, insufficient label).
