Project beneficiaries

• Direct beneficiaries:
  • Microfinance institutions (EMF) carrying out activities in the area of intervention of the TRANSFAGRI program. They will benefit from two types of support, namely:
    • Grants to develop innovative financial products and/or adapted to the needs of micro and small rural enterprises, agribusiness and agricultural value chains;
    • Capacity building in social performance management, customer protection and governance for employees and elected officials.
  • Micro and small rural enterprises, agribusinesses and agricultural value chains that will benefit from the capacity building sessions in financial education.
• Indirect beneficiaries: micro and small rural enterprises, agrifood and agricultural value chains will be able to benefit from credits granted by partner MFIs if they meet the credit conditions.
