Capacity building target groups
Capacity building for target groups (SMEs, POs, BCPME/EMFs, SAEs and other agri-food value chain actors)
The objective of this sub-component is to implement, expand and develop the engineering tools developed within the framework of the PMEAA and enabling direct support to PMEAs. This includes three flagship instruments that will form the foundation on which the APME's support service for SMMEs will be built: facilitation of access to non-financial services for SMMEs via the system for facilitating access to non-financial services/check services, tools for strengthening MFIs to facilitate SMMEs' access to credit, structuring cooperation synergies between value chain actors in the basins, and disseminating technical and economic information to support decision-making in the territories where the sectors are based.
Priority areas of intervention
Non-financial services to beneficiaries through the non-financial services facilitation scheme ;
Facilitation of access to appropriate financial services (strengthening of MFIs and support to the BCPME in order to make an "AGRO" window operational within it);
Structuring of cooperation synergies between stakeholders and dissemination of technical-economic information to support decision-making (Animation of consultation frameworks in the basins (CdCB); market studies in the basins); support for collaborative projects and technical-economic information for stakeholders).
