Human resources development within APME

This activity consists of developing competent human resources within the APME to approve SAEs, accredit their products and conduct monitoring and evaluation operations for partner SAEs.

This activity consists in developing a network of specialized service providers (SAE) of proximity previously trained to the standards, approved and accredited according to the requirements of the companies and the device of facilitation of the access to the non-financial services able to accompany the PMEA and the OP on certain benefits and services.

The project will strive to provide the departments in charge of monitoring and evaluation of its activities and conduct internal audits of operations with the resources needed to monitor programs in accordance with the requirements of the TFPs in general. APME's diagnosis has established the need to strengthen human resources (in terms of staff and training) and computer resources and appropriate software. The positioning of APME and the added value of the project should strengthen the Agency's potential attractiveness to development partners, financing institutions, large private companies, employers' organizations and international organizations interested in the development of SMEs in Cameroon. The sustainability of services to SMEs throughout the country will depend on APME's ability to attract funds from TFPs that are increasingly interested in the development of agricultural value chains. To this end, APME will have to develop the capacity to mobilize internal and external funding and to communicate on the impact of its services on SMMEs. The CA-PMEs are service points for APME customers. These decentralized service points integrating the CFCEs, and conceived in the form of "One Stop Shop Services", will be equipped with efficient professional facilities (adequate facilities, co-working, training room, internet connection, computer network, "service check" application, etc.) and with competent human resources to ensure its main missions:

  • Information and advice, pre-diagnosis of beneficiaries and referral to financial services via the "service voucher" system, for advice and training;
  • The economic animation of the basins, the sensitization to the entrepreneurship, and the formalization of company in relation with the CFCE and the CGA.

The geographic expansion plan calls for the establishment of 6 units with the support of the project and the operationalization of online registration via the website www.mybusines.cm in the seven additional CFCEs (Bafoussam, Bamenda, Buea and N'Gaoundéré, Maroua, Bertoua, Ebolowa) that are currently not connected
